Car model racing



It's all for the fun of it and to help the local school P&C's / P&F's on Bassendean Check out this website regularly for the next events AVillage Green Community Foundation initiative

2009 Calendar	Race venue(s) & dates to be confirmed
Special cars to be made or make your own		A special rubber powered, (environmentally-friendly) lightweight racing sports car is being designed with lots of space for numbers and stickers! It is guided by the 2 small wheels on the front. The 'rules' are being written so you can build your own car if you want or get a car through your local P&C/P&F's. Cars will be sold on race day for a $2 donation to the local P&C/P&F'. The rubber band to make them go will be supplied so all cars have the same 'power source'. (Motor bikes with 2 or 3 wheels will also be encouraged in a separate class) No motors, batteries, solar panels or remote controls.
The Track Jumps are optional
	There should be enough energy stored in the rubber band to get from the Start to almost the Finish ... so then you will have to try things to improve the performance of your cars .... what do you think you might try .... bigger wheels? The guidance wheel on the front of the cars, 'steer' the cars up the straights and around the corner.
